How I Work

Whole Person Approach
You are more than a diagnosis. I treat you in a way that integrates the whole person: exercise, sleep, nutrition, lifestyle, and of course: your strengths. I do this in coordination with your care team.
We can down-train the sympathetic “fight or flight” part of the nervous system together through tools that stimulate the vagus nerve. These include progressive relaxation, vocalization, sound, yogic breathing, gentle stretching, mindful movement

Nervous
System
Down-Regulation
Drawing on my yoga and meditation background, we can down-regulate the nervous system into parasympathetic calm mode through tools like voice and sound, yogic breathing, gentle stretching, and linking mind and breath with movement.

Pain Science and
Trauma-Informed Care
Grounded in the latest pain-science research, I help people guide their bodies toward safety, ease, and awareness—replacing fear, irritation, and dysfunctional movement patterns

Empowerment through Education
Knowledge is power. I explain the “why” behind exercises and techniques, so you can understand your body.
Then we can work as team for your best outcomes.

PNF:
Proprioceptive
Neuromuscular
Facilitation
I draw on my specialized neurological training (PNF) to activate your body’s nervous system and reconnect your mind to areas that may feel “disconnected.” This creates new neural pathways for better movement patterns and optimal pelvic floor function.
Healing happens in relationship with others. I build a strong, trusting therapeutic alliance so you feel heard, supported, and empowered.

It takes time to understand people
and their bodies. That’s why
evaluations are 1 hr 15 minutes and
follow-up visits are
1 hour long.

Pelvic-floor function depends on the entire kinetic chain—from your feet and ankles up through your shoulders and spine. Using the “core canister” model (pelvic floor as base, abdominals/back as walls, diaphragm as lid), I pinpoint and correct imbalances to rebuild a stable, high-performing core and pelvic floor.

Orthopedic & Kinetic-Chain Integration
Pelvic-floor health depends on a balanced kinetic chain—from your feet and ankles through your knees, hips, spine, and shoulders. Using the “core canister” model (pelvic floor as base, abdominals/back as walls, diaphragm as lid), we'll optimize the whole system.
